HOMA Oriental Rugs has been providing beautiful hand
made rugs to Seattle and the United States since 1988. Since quality, service
and loyalty to our customers has always been our main business goal, we opened
our doors at that time with a focus on antique and semi-antique pieces, feeling
then that old rugs offered the best quality, longevity and beauty. As the wool,
workmanship and design execution of new rugs have increased in quality we have
felt more comfortable adding new rugs from all the major weaving areas to our
inventory, and now offer a wide variety of contemporary and antique reproduction
rugs. As always, we continue to cultivate a superb collection of antique and
semi-antique rugs. We have a wide variety, from rare nineteenth century examples
to the finest of today's weavings; from the primitive folk charm of village and
tribal rugs, to the ornate sophistication of rugs from city workshops.
Approval Periods
Come into the showroom and select a piece or two to take home for a relaxed
approval period. There is no need to buy a rug until you have lived with it in
your setting and you're sure it's what you want. If the rug is right, it will
sell itself. If it's not right for you, just bring it back. For those of you who are unable to visit our showroom, we are
glad to provide the opportunity to spend some time with a rug while
contemplating its purchase. By living with a rug for a few days you can
experience those dimensions of the rug that you can't get from a photograph, and
you will discover how well it fits into your surroundings. If, for any reason,
you decide against purchasing the piece, simply return it. We ship anywhere in
the United States, via UPS, free of charge. Your only risk is the cost of
shipping the rug back if you decide against keeping it. Most freight charges
will fall in the $25 to $50 range and there is no need to insure the shipment,
as we are covered both ways.
